Aydede gets achievement award

ISTANBUL – Ceyda Aydede, a public relations executive and leading advocate of corporate social responsibility, has received the Atlas Award for Lifetime International Achievement from the Public Relations Society of America, or PRSA.
PRSA Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Julin praised Aydede for setting standards of excellence in public relations in Turkey and throughout the world.
“Her reputation for integrity, her vision and her love of her community serves our industry well, as she teaches companies around the world that responsibility to the community and to ethical business practices do not end at national borders.”
“The world has become one global community and Ceyda Aydede has contributed both to its success and to advancing the public relations profession within it. We are proud to recognize her great achievements by awarding her the 2008 Atlas Award,” said Sherry Goldman, 2008 Honors and Awards Committee chair and president of the New York-based Goldman Communications Group.
Established in 1995 by the International Section of the Public Relations Society of America, the Atlas Award is presented annually to an individual who has made an extraordinary contribution to the practice and profession of public relations on a global scale, over the span of his or her career.
Aydede founded Global Tanıtım ve Halkla İlişkiler in 1989, which has grown into Turkey’s largest public relations firm.
