ANKARA - Ankara and Istanbul will face power shortages in the coming days due to annual maintenance work.
In Ankara, Başkent Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş (Capital Electric Distribution) released a written announcement saying: On Nov. 13 and 14, Durhasan, Kuruçay, Aşağı Kışlacık, Yukarı Kışlacık, Çatköy, Çatokçular, Nusratlar, Kızılören, Yaylak, Kızılek, Yeşilkent, Karagöl içi, Karagöl Turkcell verici, Yıldırım Evci, Dere and Kuzu Ören Neighborhoods, Karaçam, Y.Elören village, Yıldırım Aydoğan village and Uluağaç village will be without electricity between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Electricity will be cut Thursday in Atapark Neighborhood’s 1246, 1332, Yenimahalle district’s 287, 288 streets, 12th Avenue and Mehtap, Şimşir, Gaziler, Atapark streets between 10.00 a.m. 3.00 p.m.; Friday at the same time, Esertepe Neighborhood, Çambaşı, 301, 302, 303, 307/1 streets will face outage in Ankara.
Istanbul’s Şişli district will be without electricity for five hours Nov. 13. Between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Şişli’s Fulya Neighborhood, Pehlivan Mosque, Öğretmen Nigar and Akıncı Bayırı streets electricity will be cut.
