Arrest Warrant For Hakan Uzan

The chain of arrest warrants in the Imar Bank case, expanded to include Hakan Uzan at last, while Kemal and Yavuz Uzan brothers, for whom arrest warrants were issued also, are being sought with Red Bulletin throughout the world.
A warrant of arrest was issued for Hakan Uzan in his absentia on grounds of violating the Banking Law and participating in embezzlement, within the framework of the Imar Bank investigation.
Denktas: If Uzans Were In Cyprus, We Would Have Captured Them
Turkish Cypriot President Rauf Denktas reacted at news at some Internet sites that Kemal and Yavuz Uzan were freely living in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). Denktas said, “I suppose, there are more than 30 thousand troops in Cyprus, there are security forces. The last place for them to take shelter would be Cyprus. It is very small. The only aim of such news is to slander Turkish Cypriots and me. If they (Uzans) were in Cyprus, they would have been captured in half an hour.”
