Armed attack in Council of State

Five people wounded when a gunman opened fire during a meeting here Wednesday at the Council of State, Turkey's highest administrative court, media reports said. The attacker was identified as a lawyer named Aslan Alpaslan, who was arrested in possession of his weapon, an automatic pistol, CNN-Turk television reported.

The reasons for the shooting at the court located in the center of the Turkish capital were not immediately known.
The person who attacked members of Chamber 2 of Concil of State, Turkey's administrative court, was caught.
The assailant who attacked the judges as they were holding a meeting was lawyer Alparslan Aslan. Aslan is being kept in custody in Cankaya police headquarters.
