Al-Murderer Was From Etiler

According to intelligence reports, Mamdouh Mahmoud Saleem, who was responsible of the financial and business relations of Bin Laden, came to Turkey from Sudan in 1996 and lived in Etiler, Istanbul with his wife and 6 children. His neighbors knew him as Mahmut Salih and he had said that he was working in a factory.Mamdouh Mahmoud Saleem, who was responsible for both the financial work of Al-Qa’eda and bomb-raids on the U.S. buildings in Nairobi and Darusselam, reportedly lived in Etiler, Istanbul in 1996-97 together with his wife and 6 children. Saleem was captured in Germany in September 16, 1998 and sent to U.S. on December 20, 1998 and arrested.  The terrorist, whose name was mentioned in the intelligence report most frequently, was Saif Al-Adel, who was the advisor of Al-Qa’eda and a member of its military committee. He was responsible for the death of 18 American soldiers in Somalia. Last year, intelligence units were informed that he was planning an attack in Istanbul.  Rustam Mamatkolov, another terrorist, this time from Uzbekistan Turkistan Islamic Movement, which is one of the contractor organizations of Al-Qa’eda, who was responsible for a bomb attack in Tashkent on February 16, 1999, was captured in Istanbul on March 3, 1999.Â
