Akgiray to head the Capital Markets Board

ISTANBUL – Vedat Akgiray, a professor at Istanbul’s Boğaziçi University, was appointed chief of the Capital Markets Board of Turkey, or SPK, replacing Turan Erol, CNBC-e television reported yesterday
Turan Ero, who became a member of the SPK in 2003, was appointed Deputy Chairman to the Capital Markets Board of Turkey in 2005. In 2007, he started serving as the Chairman of the Board.
