The archaeological digs that have been taking place in Göbeklitepe have revealed findings that call into question all previous information known to man regarding prehistoric times and the path to civilisation. Traces of an 11,000-year long legend have been found in Eastern Anatolia. The first human being is said to have hunted in Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran, and settled in Göbeklitepe, working the land there.

The rivers Tigris and Euphrates in the Bible

The temples that have been found are proof of the civilisation that was once in this area. Two of the four rivers mentioned in the Bible, the Tigris and Euphrates run through this area. Furthermore, Adam ground his first grains of wheat here. The newly-found ruins show man’s step-by-step journey towards a settled order.
