12 Golden Men in Sweden

Our Basketball National Team which became second-place winner in Europe two years ago, will compete tonight with Ukraine, in the 33rd European Championship in Sweden. The National Team aims at winning and getting a visa to the World Oylmpics in Athens in 2004, for the first time.

The team's trainer Aydin Ors said that they will send good news to Turkey and "I do not have the slightest hesitation that we shall fight till the end, to win. We already took lessons from last year's mistakes."
The competition of the team will take place at 22.00 O'clock in Boras city. The other matches will be with Greece and Croatia on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Meanwhile, national basketball player Hidayet Turkoglu donated ten thousand dollars to the Yildirim Bosnasport Club which he came from.
