Two lengendary names of jazz gave concert at the Anatolia Show Center in Ankara on Friday.

U.S. jazz pianist Chick Korea and English jazz fusion guitarist John McLaughlin took stage in Ankara within the scope of their world tour.

This was the first time fans saw the two jazz performers sharing the same stage since 1970s.

Grammy Award winner Christian McBride played the bass, Kenny Garrett played the saxophone and Vinny Colaiuta played the drum in the concert.

A multiple Grammy Award winner, Corea is an American jazz pianist, keyboardist, drummer and composer.

He is known for his work during the 1970s in the genre of jazz fusion. He participated in the birth of the electric fusion movement as a member of Miles Davis' band in the 1960s, and in the 1970s formed Return to Forever. He continued to pursue other collaborations and explore various musical styles throughout the 1980s and 1990s.

An English jazz fusion guitarist and composer, McLaughlin played with Tony Williams's group Lifetime and then played with Miles Davis on his landmark electric jazz-fusion albums "In A Silent Way" and "Bitches Brew".

His 1970s electric band, The Mahavishnu Orchestra performed a technically virtuosic and complex style of music that fused eclectic jazz and rock with eastern and Indian influences.

His guitar playing includes a range of styles and genres, including jazz, Indian classical music, fusion and Western Classical music, and has influenced many other guitarists. He has also incorporated Flamenco music in some of his acoustic recordings.
