Gazprom won't bid in Ankara gas tender -Turkish JV

Russia's Gazprom has decided not to bid in a tender on Friday for Ankara's gas distribution network, the head of Gazprom's Turkish joint venture, Bosphorus Gaz, told Reuters.

Bosphorus Gaz General Manager Metin Sen said the firm would focus instead on Istanbul's gas network Igdas, due to be privatised later.
The Ankara tender is expected to be worth approximately $3 billion, and has attracted firms such as Italy's Eni and Germany's RWE and EnBW.
