European group buys 20% of Turkish online takeaway service

German venture investment group European Founders Fund has bought 20 percent of a Turkish online food order company, a statement from the company said on Saturday.

The statement said that the partnership with the Turkish website, "yemeksepeti.com", which takes orders for its affiliated restaurants, is aimed at expanding its services to foreign countries.
The website "yemeksepeti.com" has nearly 2,700 member restaurants and over 350,000 online users, the statement said.
