Alarko may bid for lottery

ANKARA - Alarko Holding, a Turkish builder and power generator, said it may bid with two partners for a 10- year license to run the national lottery.

Alarko is forming a consortium with Doğuş Holding, a group with interests from finance to automobiles, and Fina Holding and may bid for the license, the company said Tuesday.
Turkey's asset sales agency on Nov. 5 set a deadline of Jan. 15 for bidders to register for the auction of rights to run the national lottery through operator Milli Piyango.
