The men, who are Turkish citizens, used a flammable liquid to set ablaze the door of the embassy building in the early hours of October 21.

The fire was detected by a police patrol and extinguished, but one embassy worker was hospitalized with injuries.  Â

The five had confessed during the trial in November, police told AFP at the time.

Sezgin Cirik, 19, Osman Yagmur, 20, Irfan Kart, 21 and Delil Acar, 23, on Thursday received suspended sentences of 14 months and were ordered to serve 60 hours of community service, the Helsinki district court said.
