Turkish army says PKK's death toll rises to 237

Turkish General Staff said on Thursday the ground operation against the PKK separatists in northern Iraq continues "as planned" and seven more PKK militants were killed on Wednesday. The total number of PKK separatists killed in the operation launched on February 21 rose to 237, according to the official statements from Turkish army.

The snowy weather conditions don't have a negative effect on the Turkish troops because of the winter equipments and measurements taken, it added.   Â
