Two people were killed on Monday in a forest fire that broke out in the Gulnar district in the Mersin province of Turkey.
The fire broke out in forest, then spread to residential areas, the agency reported.
"Local fire crews are trying to control the fire... But strong winds are hampering our efforts,” Gulnar district official, Mehmet Yildirim, told the Dogan News Agency.
