ISTANBUL – At the Arab Summit in Qatar, Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu, secretary-general of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, pointed to the important role of Iran and Turkey among Muslim nations, Press TV reported.

İhsanoğlu urged Arab countries to use Iran and Turkey's strength to resolve regional disputes. The summit ended with a statement in which Arab leaders voiced support for Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, who has been accused of war crimes.
