ISTANBUL – Iran's energy minister announced Saturday that a four-way electricity network would be formed among Iran, Syria, Iraq, and Turkey.
The Islamic Republic News Agency quoted Parviz Fattah as saying that the energy ministers of the countries would soon hold a meeting in Baghdad. Fattah went on to say Iran was establishing two thermal power plants in Iraq one with Iraqi investment and the other one as a joint venture.
