VATAN
-- FILE HAS COME, BUT IS THERE ANY EVIDENCE LEFT?
The Deniz Feneri e.V. file will arrive in Turkey six months after the Turkish prosecutor's office requested it from Germany. The 169-day delay may have a negative effect on the investigation because companies have been emptied, ships have been sold and evidence has been washed away. Germany sentenced three administrators of the Deniz Feneri e.V. charity association in September 2008 for fraud, and it declared that the real perpetrators were in Turkey. The individuals who received 17 million euros were identified. Turkey just watched the developments, and Ankara Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation only after a criminal complaint. Prosecutors asked Germany to send the file a month later. In the meantime, Mehmet Gurhan, an administrator of the association who was in prison, emptied the companies through a false proxy, shares of Kanal 7 were sold to others, and the vessel bought with fund from the donations was sold.

When Hagi wanted to sign a two-year contract, Galatasaray management negotiated with former team captain Bulent Korkmaz, who was dismissed from the team four years ago without a jubilee. Galatasaray management signed one-and-a-half-year contract with Korkmaz.
