Turkish Cyprus to hold early elections

ISTANBUL - The Republican Turkish Party, which is the majority partner of the coalition government in Turkish Cyprus, decided to go to early elections in 2009, CNNTürk television reported Saturday.
According to election law in Turkish Cyprus, general elections are repeated every five years and 2010 is the actual date for elections. In 2010 local and presidential elections are to be held.
