France hosts meeting on Turkey-EU ties

PARIS - The French Foreign Policy Institute, or IFRI, and the Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation discussed European Union- Turkey relations yesterday, in a conference held in the French Senate building.
Turkey’s chief consultant to Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu spoke at the conference, where he warned the EU could not become a global player without Turkish membership.
