DTP MP for Istanbul Sebahat Tuncel met with Irish republican politician and Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams in his office in Belfast on Friday.
Continuing her trip to the UK and Ireland alone after the return of Van DTP MP Özdal Uçer to Turkey on Thursday, Sebahat Tuncel met with parliamentarians in the Irish capital of Dublin. The DTP MP later went to the Northern Irish capital of Belfast. In Belfast, Tuncel met with Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams. Tuncel gave the Irish leader Turkish delight while Adams gave her a copy of his own book. Tuncel later travelled to Scotland to meet Scottish MPs.
