Iraqi Prime Minister to visit Turkey for PKK talks

On the heels of the election, the Turkish government’s first foreign guest will be Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri El Maliki, who is expected to visit on the 7th or 8th of August.
It’s expected that El Maliki and Turkish officials will discuss the precautions the Iraqi Central Administration ought to take against PKK terror; how the PKK acquired weapons the US gave to Iraq’s military; the extradition of the PKK’s European financier, Rıza Altun; and the Kirkuk issue.
