PKK remote control bomb attack on Erzurum cargo train

A cargo train going from Sivas to Erzurum was the target of a PKK terror attack yesterday. The bomb, which was exploded by remote control in the Erzurum location of Kemah, caused notable damage on the train, which was carrying tiles.
There was some speculation that the real target of the bomb had been the Erzurum Express train, which was due to pass through the same spot two hours later, and would have been carrying around 200 passengers.
