Two members of the United Nations International Investigative Commission are in Istanbul to research possible links between top Al Qaeda operative Louai Sakka and the assassination two years ago of former Lebanese prime minister Refik Hariri.
United Nations commission members Ahmet Kaya from Turkey and Alastair Macleod from Britain arrived March 19 in Istanbul, meeting Tuesday with Prosecutor Zekeriya Oz and head Republic Prosecutor Turan Colakkadi. Information was exchanged at these meetings about Sakka.
