Dollar fever appears to be dropping

Intervention by the Turkish Central Bank in Ankara in the money markets is showing its effect today across the country. The dollar has dropped back down to the 1.65 YTL level, with the government and Central Bank taking precautions to slow down the waves rocking the market. While the dollar was at 1.6800 YTL yesterday at the close of trading, today it pulled back to 1.65 YTL after starting the morning at 1.6700 YTL.
