Soros in Istanbul: There is much that remains to be done in Turkey

Famous investor George Soros, in Istanbul for a meeting at his Open Society Institute, has said that while Turkey has passed some important goal points, there is still much to be done in the country.

Soros told reporters that he had witnessed many positive developments in Turkey, and that the march towards EU membership should be encouraged. Touching on what remains to be done, Soros said "No one can reach perfection. An open society is a society which cannot have 'perfection.' It improves and betters itself."
