Gul: A US military strike on Iran is impossible

Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul commented on speculation over whether the US would launch a military strike on Iran, "A military strike on Iran is impossible, but we should be ready for any developments," said Gul. According to him, neither the US nor any other country would embark on this shady enterprise and start a military operation against Iran.
As he said at a meeting with leaders of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), “a war with Iran would be completely different, because Iran is not Iraq.” At the same time, according to him, Turkey should be ready “for any turns,” as “any events” in the neighboring Iran “would affect us.”
